And the Beat Goes On…

It’s been quite a wait but it’s finally here and I’m so excited to announce the album release of ‘Echoes From Our Time’ – This marks the first album from the Sodexo-run female prison Bronzefield and our ninth album to date.

The album features 12 tracks from a gospel feel ‘Let it go’ to the extremely heartfelt ‘I Miss You’, taking you on an emotional roller-coaster into the lives of these 9 ladies.  With guest musicians Nathan & Sean Allen, Vashti Anna and Jess Green to name a few, this album has a mixture of different genres blended into one. If you like soul, indie and a sprinkle of gospel resonance… then this is the perfect album for you to enjoy.

‘Everyday’ is my favourite track of the album. The moment I heard it during post-production, I fell in love with it. The soul within the track captivates me and the jazzy instrumental throughout takes me on a spiritual journey.  What can I say?!… I love that song!

Not only did we release the first album from Bronzefield, we also have the second album release from HMP The Mount: ‘One Day Too Long’.

Unlike ‘Echoes from Our Time’, ‘One day Too Long’ features 14 tracks and brings the blend of acoustic, reggae, rap and elements of funk/pop. A great album to ‘bust a groove’ too.  ‘Patiently Waiting’ and ‘Living My Life Like a Romeo’ are amongst the tracks that feature the talented Jessica Greenfield and Isobel Anderson –  They bring that edge and sassiness; that all important feminine touch that softens the aggressiveness to give it the balance needed within the mix.

Two different albums! Two different perspectives!

We just started two new back-to-back projects at HMP Swinfen Hall and HMP Onley – adding to our list of 10 projects we aim to complete this year.

If you think 9 albums to date was enough, then you are in for a very pleasant and inspirational ‘shock’… so watch this space….It’s going to be epic!
