Finding Rhythms was founded in 2012 by Robin Harris and Emily Vermont. Our aim is to create a more engaged, positive and employable generation of prisoners… through music.
The album Found Our Rhythm was written and recorded in just 36 hours by a group of fourteen men at Young Offenders Institution, HMYOI Feltham.
All tracks were written by the group and put to music collectively with the help of Project Leaders, Nathan Allen & Sean Allen and Music Engineer, Aaron May.
“Finding Rhythms brought together a group of young men to work collaboratively on something of genuine quality, giving them valuable skills for the future. Working with one group on a speci c unit has allowed staff, as well as the men involved, to see the bene ts of the project and the improved group dynamics. Fantastic”
