FR014 | View from The Hill

Finding Rhythms was founded in 2012 by Robin Harris and Emily Vermont. Our aim is to create a more engaged, positive and employable generation of prisoners… through music.

The album View from the Hill was written and recorded in just 36 hours by a group of eight  men at the category D adult  prison, HMP Standford Hill. All tracks were written by the group and put to music collectively with the help of Project Leader, Robin Harris, Music Engineer, Aaron May and five guest musicians.

Four participants worked towards the BTEC certificate ‘Supporting Employability and Personal Effectiveness’. All of them passed.

All tracks on this album were composed and recorded on location at HMP Standford Hill by participants on Finding Rhythms’ fourteenth  project.
