Kema is a community activist, veteran youth worker and top-tier lyricist. As part of the hybrid rap group, CMPND, he signed to High Focus Records in 2019 and has since released two critically acclaimed albums. Kema has performed at major venues including Fabric, Motion and the Jazz Cafe, hit main stages at Boomtown and Outlook and had tracks played on Rinse FM and Kiss FM.

Kema is an experienced youth worker delivering lyric and music-based interventions in schools, prisons, referral units and youth centres. He’s driven by a belief in creativity as a tool for challenging systems and breaking down barriers, both internal and external.
